From Farquhar Airport, you'll take a 15-minute tractor ride (true island style) to the Maya Dugong, the 135-foot liveaboard vessel, and your home base for your week at Providence Atoll.

Getting to Providence Atoll Liveaboard

Entry Requirements: U.S. passport holders must obtain an eTA (Electronic Travel Authorization) to enter Seychelles. Mandatory travel health insurance is also required for all travelers.
Travel Overview:
1. Fly to Dubai: Most travelers from the United States will connect through Dubai, a major international hub.
2. Flight to Mahé, Seychelles: From Dubai, take a 5-hour flight to Seychelles International Airport (SEZ) on the island of Mahé. Overnight stay required in Mahé (hotel not included in the package).
3. Transfer to IDC Hangar – Mahé: The next morning, take a short 5-minute taxi ride (or pre-arranged transfer) to the IDC Hangar in Pointe Larue.
4. Charter Flight to Providence Atoll: At 9:00 a.m., board a 1-hour, 45-minute charter flight to Providence aboard a Beechcraft 1900. (Roundtrip charter flight is included in your package – a $3,950 value.)
5. Transfer to the Liveaboard: Upon arrival at the landing strip, the guide team will greet you and transport you and your luggage via tender boat to the Liveaboard vessel.
Note: Hotel accommodations and ground transfers in Mahé are not included in the package.
Departure Day: After your sixth day of fishing, the Liveaboard returns to Providence Atoll. You’ll overnight aboard the vessel, and the following morning, take your return charter flight to Mahé.
Depending on your travel plans, you can either: Catch a late-night international flight home (recommended departure time after 9:00 p.m.) Or spend an extra night in Mahé at your own expense.

.Providence Atoll Policies:

Medical Evacuation Insurance (Required): All guests must obtain Medical Evacuation insurance. Full details will be provided in your confirmation packet. Agents cannot assume any financial responsibility for consequences incurred if this has not been obtained.
Travel Insurance (Strongly Recommended): All guests are strongly encouraged to obtain travel insurance to cover costs related to flight delays, cancellations, or other unexpected disruptions.

Required Waiver of Liability Form: Once on location, Alphonse Fishing Company requires you to sign an indemnity form for all activities.
Alphonse Fishing Company’s Payment Policy:
A 50% deposit is required within 14 days of booking to confirm your reservation. The final payment is due 90 days prior to your arrival.
Alphonse Fishing Company’s Cancellation Policy:
• A 10% fee shall be levied if cancellation is made more than 180 days prior to arrival.
• A 10% fee shall be levied if the reservation is moved to an alternative date within the same season.
• If a booking moves to an alternative year, the 10% fee and the applicable rate increase will apply. Bookings may only be moved more than 181 days prior to arrival.
• A fee of 50% shall be levied if cancellation is between 180 and 90 days prior to arrival.
• A fee of 100% shall be levied if cancellation is 90 days or less prior to arrival.
All cancellations and provisional bookings must be confirmed in writing.

At time of quote, flight charges, island fees, and government taxes are correct but are subject to change without prior notice. Increases in any of these facets are out of the control of Alphonse Island Limited, trading as Blue Safari Seychelles, and will be transferred to the client. Although all reasonable efforts will be made to ensure the smooth running of the tour, Alphonse Island Limited trading as Blue Safari Seychelles cannot be held responsible in any way for bad or non-performance of service providers.

Should the IDC be unable to provide its service, a 100 % refund of the package fee only, will be made to the client and no further claims from the client will be made on Alphonse Island Lodge Limited trading as Blue Safari Seychelles. Likewise in any scenario in which certain costs for extracting or moving their guests are incurred, including but not limited to charter flights or other means of transportation off the Vessel or from an area, the guests agree to meet any and all such costs and no claims will be made against Alphonse Island Lodge Limited trading as Blue Safari Seychelles for such expenses.
