Belize River Lodge is open year-round, offering opportunities to fish for tarpon, bonefish, permit, snook, and more in Central Belize’s rich rivers, flats, and coastal habitats.

    Best Times for Key Species

    • Bonefish: Active all year, with consistently productive flats fishing.

    • Tarpon: Resident tarpon are available year-round; larger migratory tarpon peak from March to early August.

    • Permit: Present year-round; best fishing often occurs April through September, especially on calmer days.

    • Snook: Available year-round, with November to April often producing the strongest action.
